Description

Socket eyes link fitting is made of malleable iron which is hot dip galvanized, it is used for connection with the steel foot subjected to the bottom of the ball & socket-shaped insulator (ball head). According to different usage conditions & structures, socket clevis eyes are composed of single-series type & double-series type.

Use of Socket Eye Link Fitting

Determine the usage occasion and type of hanging panels: Select the corresponding hanging panel type based on cable length, load-bearing requirements, line direction and other conditions, and carefully determine the location of the hanging panels on walls such as columns, towers, and bridge piers.
Hanging boards should be installed at certain intervals. Under normal circumstances, the distance between cables and communication lines is between 50-70cm, and the distance between hanging boards is generally controlled at 1.5-2.5 meters.
The installation height of fittingis also very important, usually around 1.8-3.5 meters. At the same time, according to the direction and terrain of the line, straighten the straight line between each hanging board to keep the entire line in a flat state, with good wind resistance and required load-bearing capacity.
When installing socket eye fitting, pay attention to the position and number of each fixing hole to fix the socket in a safe position. For cables that need to be fixed with socket eye link fittings in key parts such as power stations and substations, they should also be safely grounded in strict accordance with relevant technical specifications to ensure normal operation of the lines.
